So, in episode 6, we finally get a peek at Jesus physically healing people who come to Him & ask if He’s willing to do so. We also get a feel for how different people respond to Jesus’ Kingdom teaching & His willingness & ability to forgive sins & heal.

These are some of the Bible passages that episode 5 refers to:

John 1:32-36 – the Holy Spirit resting on the One
Mark 1:40-45 – if You are willing ...
(also Mat. 8:1-4 & Luke 5:12-16)
Mark 2:1-12 – The Son of Man Forgives & Heals
(also Mat. 9:1-8 & Luke 5:17-26)
John 3:10-13 – but you do not accept Our testimony

Things you can (but don’t need to) think about while watching:

What are some of the similarities & differences between Nicodemus & Shmuel?
What happens if you throw Matthew into that mix?
How do you personally see Matthew as similar to or different than either of the other two men?
Have you ever felt like any or all of these guys: Nicodemus, Shmuel and/or Matthew? 
If you want, take some time to consider how each of these 3 guys reacted to Jesus' teachings & to His willingness to forgive & heal the paralyzed man who crashed through Zebedee's roof.
